Give Up Something

2 steps to change a life...

Give up Something. What does it mean? As Americans, we spend money on luxuries that many people never dream of. $5 coffee drinks, $10 movie tickets, $20 dinners. Pick something small you enjoy and give it up, just once a month. Whether it's that extra latte one morning, a movie at the theater, or a meal at a nice restaurant. That's it.

What will you give up?
So, by giving up something we don't even need, we can help change the life of a kid. How cool is that? We can offer them that experience in God's creation they'll never forget. That mountain-top view of 4 different states, a day on the river, watching the water rush over the rocks, or hanging from a cliff in a place not accessible by foot. These are the things they'll never forget. Who says that's not worth sacrificing a dinner out on the town or a movie once every month?

Go ahead, change a life. We dare you. What will you give up?

Why?

If you're wondering what this is about - over 75% of our participants pay nothing to come on trips with us. Having a steady, predictable cashflow each month helps us greatly scheduling how many kids we can bring with us on our adventures.

If we know how much scholarship money we can expect this month, then we know how many kids we can tell, "Don't worry about it, somebody who doesn't even know you loves you enough to make sure you were able to do this". We try to keep those of you who do give up something in the loop as well, so you can see how you're helping.

And sometime we even send you cool stuff. That nobody else gets. But that's just the icing on top.

For ever since the world was created,
people have seen the earth and sky.
Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible
qualities — his eternal power and divine nature.
